Shipping Policy – Texas Biomedical Consultants

At Texas Biomedical Consultants, we are committed to processing and fulfilling your order as quickly as possible. Texas Biomedical Consultants offers both UPS and FedEx for our customers and only use USPS methods in the rare circumstance that customers reside outside of carrier service regions or if the address is a PO Box. Orders are typically packed and handed off to the selected carrier within 36 hours of an order being placed.

Please note: Once a package is turned over to the carrier, delivery speed and tracking updates are out of our control. While we fulfill orders promptly, the responsibility for transit time, delays, and final delivery lies with the shipping carrier.

We fulfill orders Monday-Friday and drop off orders to the carrier at the end of the day. Orders placed on Friday after 1pm through Sunday will be processed and shipped the following business day. We are moving promptly to process your orders so please expect up to 24 hours to receive your order’s tracking information.

Shipping Methods

UPS 2nd Day Air

  • This shipping method is an expedited domestic shipping option and orders typically arrive within two business days after shipment.

  • Offers more consistent tracking and delivery timelines.

  • Transit times are estimates and begin once the package is in possession of the carrier. Delivery days only count business days and can be expected by the end of the second business day. Business days exclude weekends and carrier holidays.

  • Free on purchases over $200 (not available for Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands)

  • Package protection is now available with Route and when purchased at checkout, covers loss or damage during transit.

FedEx 2Day Shipping

  • This shipping method is an expedited domestic delivery option with packages typically arriving within two business days after shipment.

  • Provides reliable tracking updates and predictable delivery windows.

  • Transit times are estimates and begin once the package is in the possession of the carrier. Delivery days count as business days only and are expected by the end of the second business day. Business days exclude weekends and FedEx-observed holidays.

  • Free on purchases over $200 (not available for Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands).

  • Package protection is now available with Route and when purchased at checkout, covers loss or damage during transit.

USPS Priority Mail

  • USPS Priority Mail is an expedited shipping service and is only used if the customer resides outside of a UPS serviced region or the address is a PO box.

  • Shipping does not guarantee a delivery date but is prioritized higher than USPS Ground Advantage mail service.

  • Delivery takes place 6 days a week excluding Sundays.

Refund & Return Policy – Texas Biomedical Consultants

At Texas Biomedical Consultants, customer satisfaction is a top priority. While all products are intended for research use only and are subject to strict quality control, we understand that issues may arise. Our return and resolution policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and flexible within reason.

1. General Returns

  • Due to the sensitive nature of our products, we do not accept general returns for reasons unrelated to product condition (e.g., change of mind or improper storage post-delivery).

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery. To qualify for resolution:

  • Email us with your order number

  • Attach clear photos of the product(s) in question in your email

  • open a lost or damaged package claim through UPS. We include product protection on all orders so this will ensure your product will be protected in these rare circumstances.

Upon verification, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A replacement shipment (no additional cost)

  • A store credit for future use

3. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of placement by emailing us directly at [email protected] .

  • Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

4. No Refunds for Misuse

  • We are not responsible for issues resulting from product misuse, improper storage, incorrect handling, unauthorized modification, or misapplication of research materials.

  • All products are sold strictly for research purposes only and are not intended for human or veterinary use.

  • By purchasing, the customer acknowledges responsibility for determining product suitability prior to use.

Refund Eligibility

  • Due to the changing landscape of this industry, refunds issued through the original payment method are not always available. We have the right to refuse refunds and issue refunds on a case-by-case basis.

  • Refund requests will only be considered under the following conditions:

    • The request is submitted within 30 calendar days of the original delivery date.

    • The product is unused, unopened, untampered, and in its original packaging.

    • The product has been stored in accordance with recommended storage guidelines.

    • Proof of purchase and order number are provided.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Products that have been opened, used, altered, or partially consumed.

    • Improper storage or handling after delivery.

    • Customer ordering errors (including incorrect product selection, strength, or quantity).

    • Claims made after 30 days from delivery.

    • Requests for full refunds after extended possession of the product.

    • Shipping fees, customs charges, or handling costs.

    • Products marked as final sale, clearance, or special order.

Additional Terms

  • All approved refunds are subject to inspection upon return.

  • We reserve the right to deny any return that does not meet the above criteria.

  • We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
